Randal Binnie LL.B, Mediator/Solicitor Notary Public 
 
Randal is a Queensland Law Society Accredited Family Law Specialist. He was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland on 28 January 1992 and is also admitted as a solicitor to the High Court of Australia.  Randal holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology and is a member of the Family Law Practitioners Association of the Law Council of Australia.Randal has a broad range of legal experience and has appeared as an advocate in a number of Courts and Tribunals in both State and Federal jurisdictions. 

Randal now concentrates on alternative dispute resolution (negotiation, mediation and collaborative law) to assist our clients, having 20 years experience as a mediator. 

Prior to his admission as a solicitor Randal was a member of the Queensland Police Service for thirteen years, resigning at the rank of Sergeant Second Class.

Randal is:

• an accredited mediator under the National Accreditation Standards (Queensland Law Society);
• a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner under the Family Law Act;
• a member of the ADR Committee Queensland Law Society;
• a Legal Aid Office (Qld) approved chairperson/mediator (since 1992);
• A Notary Public; and is a ; and
• A trained and currently practising Collaborative Lawyer

Randal is a member of the following professional organisations:

• International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (U.S.);
• The Society of Notaries Qld Inc  and the Australian & New Zealand College of Notaries;
